My Education:  I have a Florida Child Care Professional Credential from Brevard Community College.

My Background:  Merritt Island Christian School has made a huge impact on my life.  I know this school as a student, teacher and a parent.  I attended MICS for five years as an elementary student in the 80’s.  I have taught preschool (K/4) at MICS since in 2001.  My daughter currently attends MICS in the Child Care Program.  I have a wonderful husband, Sean.  I've wanted to be a mom my entire life.  God has blessed me with a great step-son, Skyler and my beautiful baby girl, Callee.

My Position at MICS:  I am a preschool teacher of four year olds.

My Interests:  I am very crafty but not artsy.  I love to work with my hands.  I like to take things apart in order to know how they work.  I love to decorate and thought about doing that for a living.  More than anything, I love to spend time with my friends and family, just simply being silly with them.

My Faith and Learning Statement:  I was raised in a Christian home.  I grew up knowing God would always be there for me.  I would be lost if it was not for God’s love.  God has given me a true love for children.  He has placed me in a position that I get to help mold children’s lives.  Each day, I get to work with God’s creations and I am so blessed because of it.
