Ms. Miller's Web Page
My Education: I graduated from Cocoa High School. I have an AS degree in Child Care Services (preschool education) from Brevard Community College. My Background: I was born in Albany, New York. My family moved to Cocoa in 1969. I have lived here ever since. I have a son named Ryan, Ryan loves to watch football and plays tennis. He is a recent in high school graduate. He is going to BCC and enlisting in the U.S. Military. My Position at MICS: I have been both a K3 and K4 preschool teacher. I love teaching four year olds most. I get the most joy from seeing them learn to read and write words. I have been teaching for 24 years; the last 18 at MICS. My Interest: I love to travel and be a tourist, especially cruising. I like to scrapbook, do jigsaw puzzles, and play trivia games. My favorite pastime is reading. I have a very hard time putting down a good book, especially one written by Lori Wick or Karen Kingsbury. My Faith and Learning Statement: I accepted Christ as a teenager. He is my constant in life. I love to teach my students that God’s love is forever. Even when we do wrong, God never stops loving us. This is why I teach all my four year olds the Bible verse John 3:16-17. It is so rewarding to know I helped a four year old come to know Jesus. My favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13.
