My Education:  BS in elementary education, minor in psychology from Houghton College, Houghton,  New York, 1997; Master’s degree in Educational Leadership through American College of Education, Chicago, Illinois, 2011.

My Background:  I was raised in upstate New York in the Finger Lakes Region.  My parents and two younger brothers and their families still live there.  My husband's name is Derrick, and we live in Rockledge.  Our children are Tylynn, 13, Treshawn, 10, and Terrell, 5.  All three of my children attend MICS. I have taught at MICS since 1997.

My Position at MICS:  Fourth grade teacher

My Interests:  I enjoy reading, coffee, movies, running, shopping, and spending time with my kids.

My Faith and Learning Statement:  My relationship with God is my number one priority!  My strength and my hope come from staying intimately involved with Him.  As a teacher and a role model at MICS, I want my students to see that they can have a real, tangible relationship with Jesus.  I strive to bring out the best in my students.  Capitalizing on their individual strengths will help them to reach their full potential in God's kingdom and in this world.  I have the opportunity and responsibility to help build a strong foundation, not only academically, but spiritually as well.
