My Education:  I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Science Education from the University of Central Florida.  I hold certifications from the State of Florida and ACSI.

My Background:  I was born in Brevard County and have spent my life enjoying and appreciating the natural beauty of this area.  Being raised in a loving Christian home was something I used to take for granted.   But with the wisdom of age, I now realize this was a blessed and powerful gift.

My Position at MICS:  I have taught science and math for over twenty one years at MICS.

My Interests:  I love the beach and spending time outdoors.  Good books and good music also make life much more satisfying and enjoyable.  I am most thankful for the times I can spend with my husband and two daughters.

My Faith and Learning Statement:  We in Christian Education are called to provide a safe harbor of God’s love and guidance along with a program of academic excellence.   The three areas of family, church and godly education can prepare and equip tomorrow’s adults to meet the challenges of future days.
