My Education: I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Elementary Education. I am also certified by the State of Florida in Elementary Education.

My Background: I was raised in Merritt Island, Florida and graduated from Merritt Island High School. I am extremely blessed to still be near and surrounded by my family. I am one of three girls my remarkable parents nurtured and shaped into a God-fearing, church-going woman who knows the Lord and takes her faith seriously. I have been an active member at First Baptist Merritt Island since 1995.

My Position at MICS: Elementary P.E.Enrichment teacher and Middle School P.E. Coach..

My Interests: I enjoy boating, shopping with girlfriends, taking aerobics classes (Zumba!!), singing in our church choir, dancing, playing with my darling beagle Lily, going to coffee shops, and reading “girly” Christian novels.

My Faith and Learning Statement: Two important aspects of my life, my faith and my profession, now fit together as a whole. I am delighted to work in, not only my hometown church, but in Christian Education where I can share and immerse young children in the Word of God, while providing a creditable and memorable education. I am confident God has called me to this special place and to this fulfilling job of taking care of His precious children.
