My Education:  BA in Computer Science and Statistics from Universidad Santa Marķa La Antigua, Republic of Panama. Florida Teaching Certification in Spanih K-12 and Computer Science K-12.

My Background:  I was born in Panama where I worked for the Panama Canal Commission as a Computer Specialist for many years. When my husband retired from The Panama Canal Commission, we decided to move to the United States. Everything was very different from my home, but I adjusted very well.

My Position at MIC:  I have been teaching for 9th years at MICS. I have the opportunity to work at MICS as a Spanish and computer teacher. I love teaching Spanish. Also, I have been working in a partnership with Mrs. McKnight for six years. I enjoy working in both fields.

My Interests:  I love spending time with my family and my dog. I like to be fit, so I workout doing Zumba, kayaking, and so much more. Another activity that I love is fishing. Also, I have been  a Girls Scout leader for eleven years. I like to help young girls grow up with different and wonderful experiences.

My Faith and Learning Statement:   I was born as a Catholic. I learned about God when I was a child. When I had my first communion, I really felt connected with Jesus. I am so happy to be part of the MICS family. Each day I feel that I grow in the Lord. I feel blessed to be able to take Bible studies and meditate on the Word of God.
