My Education: B.A. from Bob Jones University; M.A.T. from Belhaven College in Orlando, FL

My Background: I was born in New Jersey, but was raised in Miami, Florida. I moved to West Palm Beach after college. I was married in West Palm, and our three girls were born there. I moved to Merritt Island 15 years ago.

My position at MIC: This is my tenth year teaching first grade at MIC.

My Interests: I love to travel. I went to Europe summer 2008 with my youngest daughter and it was the best trip I have ever been on. I like spending time with my family, reading, shopping, and going to the movies.

My faith and learning statement: I asked Jesus into my heart when I was nine years old. It has been an awesome journey since that day. I am grateful for the Christian education that I have received.

Teaching in a Christian school is a blessing that I do not take lightly. From the first day of school, until the last day, I love the challenge and the reward of watching my students learn and improve. It is a gift to me to have a small part in their lives. We grow to love and enjoy each other and then, before we know it, the year is over and they move on. I pray for my students, and I ask God for wisdom to meet their needs.
