My Education: Bachelor of Science degree Biblical Studies and Physical Education from Evangel College in Springfield, MO.

My Background: I was born in York, PA. I moved to Merritt Island, FL in 1998. I have been teaching at MIC for over 10 years. I married my beautiful wife, Annette, in 2003. We are the proud owners of four wonderful dogs (two pugs, a jack russel terrier, and a golden retriever).

My Position at MIC:  I am currently the elementary P.E. teacher. I am also the middle school girls volleyball and basketball coach.

My Interests: I enjoy playing volleyball, football, surfing, rock climbing, tree climbing, traveling, and spending time with my wife.

My Faith and Learning Statement: I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior on March 11th 1993, during my sophomore year in college.  I was radically saved when the Lord woke me up on that glorious morning and spoke to me.  It was some what of a "Paul the Apostle" experience as no one witnessed to me, but rather the Lord spoke to me and directed me to read his Word.  Without even knowing who John was or where his book was in the Bible, the Lord directed me to read His book.  I was amazed at my findings and broke down on the floor crying that morning in celebration of my sins being forgiven.  I was home on spring break at the time and I remember my parents thinking I was literally insane.  They could not figure out how their college age son went from a "misfit" to young man who could not put down the Bible. All I wanted to talk about was God, God, God.  I serve a great and powerful God and I am so blessed to be able to teach here at MIC where I can share His love and Word with all of our wonderful students.
